It’s hard to believe but we’re just a couple of weeks from the start of a new school year already and all the fun and chaos that comes along with it.
As I’m getting ready for the new year I’m also thinking of the teachers that are each going to be asking for some much-needed help in the classroom from room parent volunteers.
To make it easier on all those big-hearted room mom and dads out there that sacrifice their time and energy to give our kids the best school year possible, I thought I’d lighten the load a bit with some free room mom printables.
First up we have the requisite intro letter for Room Moms (or Room Parents to be fair) to send out at the beginning of the school year introducing themselves and hopefully building a contact list and some additional volunteers. . Click here to instantly download it as a Microsoft Word File.
Next is a survey the room parent can give the teacher to fill out and then pass along to parents or just use as a reference for buying group gifts through the year. This is a really cute idea I saw from one of my children’s teachers last year and I thought I’d make my own version. I think it’s a great idea so when you’re buying a thank you, holiday, or teacher appreciation gift for your child’s teacher, you can be sure to purchase something that will truly be useful and wanted.
