Christmas Recorder Duets

These Christmas songs are arranged specifically for two recorders, by Kyle Coughlin. Since the recorder has a fairly narrow range compared to other wind and brass instruments, I have arranged them for soprano and alto recorder. For each duet, the soprano part is in the top staff and plays the melody, and the alto part harmonizes the melody in the bottom staff. Chords are provided, so you can also play the duets with a chordal accompaniment instrument like guitar or piano. There are currently recorder duet arrangements of Jingle Bells, Joy to the World, Deck the Halls, and Silent Night. Scroll down and select the image of the carol you want for printable PDFs of each recorder duet.

Visit the home page for Christmas recorder music for free sheet music of more than 25 carols in printable PDF format. Each carol includes the melody and chords, so you can play the carols with other instruments.
